Relman, Dane & Colfax is pleased to announce that Rebecca Livengood and Kali Schellenberg have joined the firm as litigation associates, and will focus on cases involving discrimination in housing, policing, government services, and public accommodations.

Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca Livengood was with the Equal Justice Initiative, where she represented prisoners on Alabama’s death row in capital post-conviction proceedings and challenged excessive punishment in the Alabama criminal justice system. Earlier in her career, Rebecca was a Skadden Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey, where her practice focused on abusive police practices and protecting the rights of young people in the criminal justice system. She is a graduate, cum laude, of Harvard Law School, and after graduation clerked for the Hon. Michael A. Chagares of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and for the Hon. Stewart Dalzell of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Kali Schellenberg was previously a Trial Attorney in the Employment Litigation Section of U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division. Kali joined the Civil Rights Division through the Attorney General's Honors Program. There she investigated and litigated individual and disparate impact employment discrimination cases based on sex, race, national origin, and service member status. Before that, she clerked for the Hon. Legrome D. Davis of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Please join us in welcoming Rebecca and Kali to the firm.
