Maddie is a 2024 summer associate. She is a rising 3L at Harvard Law School, where she is a student attorney in Harvard Defenders, a Team Lead in the Tenant Advocacy Project, and Digital Director of OnLabor (a blog about labor law). As a student attorney in the Cyberlaw Clinic last fall, she worked on state-level data privacy legislation. She's interested in learning how to use civil rights law to address algorithmic discrimination.
Prior to law school, she worked on AI policy in the UK government and as a senior policy advisor at the Ada Lovelace Institute, a non-profit research organization.
Maddie holds holds a MSc in Social Science of the Internet and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and a BA in history from Stanford University.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking and listening to live music.
