Mark Vandenberg joined the firm in 2017 for a two-year term as a civil rights paralegal. His work focuses on supporting the civil rights litigation and civil rights counseling work of the firm’s attorneys.
Mark graduated from Harvard in 2016 with an A.B., cum laude, in Social Studies, with a focus on inequality in the American legal system. During college, Mark interned in Congressman John Lewis’s office in Washington and served as a program assistant at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau Clinic at Harvard Law School. He also served as a volunteer coordinator for the Mission Hill After School tutoring program and captained the men’s Ultimate Frisbee team.
After graduation, Mark worked as a Deputy Operations Director for Jon Ossoff’s congressional campaign in the 6th District of Georgia and interned in HUD’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunities before joining the firm.
Mark will be heading to law school in the fall of 2019 and plans to continue working in civil rights litigation.
