Isabel Martin joined Relman Colfax in 2018 for a two-year term as a civil rights paralegal. Her work focuses on supporting the firm's civil rights litigation and civil rights counseling practices.
Isabel graduated from Brown University in 2018 with a B.A., magna cum laude, with a double concentration in Comparative Literature and Gender & Sexuality Studies. During college, Isabel worked as an editorial assistant at differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies, and as an archives assistant at the Feminist Theory Archive at the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women. She also served as co-president of Brown’s chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, a health center advocate at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, and as a community organizer at Brown’s chapter of NARAL Pro-Choice America.
Outside of the office, Isabel enjoys dancing at the ballet studio and reading Italian literature. After her term at the firm, she plans to attend law school.
