Ashanti Jones is a 2025 summer associate. Ashanti is a rising 3L at the University of Virginia School of Law, and 2023 graduate from the College of William and Mary.
During her time at UVA Law, Ashanti has served as an Executive Editor for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law, a student attorney for the Civil Rights Clinic, and a competitor in the National Black Law Student Association’s Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition and Nelson Mandela International Negotiations Competition. She has also worked as a pro bono volunteer with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and as a Kellanova Law Fellow with the NAACP Office of the General Counsel.
Additionally, Ashanti is involved with student organizations such as UVA’s chapter of the Black Law Student Association, the Virginia Law Weekly student newspaper, and the Community Fellows Program.
