Ms. Groves practices primarily in civil rights litigation.

Prior to joining Relman, Dane & Colfax, Ms. Groves served as a law clerk to the Honorable Solomon Oliver, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Ms. Groves earned her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar. At NYU, Ms. Groves participated in clinics providing death penalty defense through the Equal Justice Initiative, as well as defending children accused of crimes through the Legal Aid Society. Ms. Groves interned at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., Advancement Project, and the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. Ms. Groves received NYU’s Gary E. Moncrieffe Award for most outstanding student in the area of racism and the law, as well as the Vanderbilt Award for outstanding contributions to the school.

Ms. Groves earned her A.B., with Honors, from Princeton University. She served as a Trustee of Princeton from 2012-2016. Before attending law school, Ms. Groves was a high school social studies teacher and Teach For America corps member in Miami, Florida.
