Ms. Arandes practices primarily in civil rights litigation.
Prior to joining Relman, Dane & Colfax, Ms. Arandes was a law clerk for the Honorable Martha Craig Daughtrey on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and for the Honorable Gladys Kessler in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Arandes graduated from New York University School of Law where she was an Arthur Garfield Hays Fellow, a Fellow at the Center on the Administration of Criminal Law, and an Articles Editor of the Law Review. During law school, she interned with the Housing and Civil Enforcement Section of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice, the ACLU Washington Legislative Office, and the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties. She also participated in the Prisoners’ Rights and Education Project and the Latino Law Students Association.
